Luana DeVol’s role debut as the SIEGFRIED Brünnhilde occured in the Nationaltheater Mannheim in 1992.

Her Bayreuth debut occured in the role the same year.

And in December 2000 she appeared  again in Mannheim in a Festival Opera Evening, this time with Adam Fischer conducting, as events would show, was to be a prelude for their appearances in the 2001 Bayreuth Festspiel.
