DIE FRAU OHNE SCHATTEN 

Previously Luana DeVol was a noted "Kaiserin"  in the theaters of Berlin, Munich, Karlsruhe, Hannover and Paris (Photo on top with Sabine Hass and Anja Silja)

 

The same role she sang in Nagoya, Japan.

Luana DeVol debuted as 

"The Färberin" in a new production in the famous theater in Essen by Finnish designer Aalto.

Stefan Soltesz, 

General Manager and 

Music Director conducted.

Whereas in June 2000 she was the “Kaiserin” in the uncut version in Berlin under the baton of Christian Thielemann. (Photo right)

 

In October the same year she appeared as the “Färberin” in the same uncut version in Berlin 

under the baton of Christian Thielemann.

At the Vienna Staatsoper in January 2002 she appeared as the “Färberin” in Robert Carson’s production with Franz Grundheber as the Färber under the baton of Peter Schneider.
